cancernova

Why cancernova?  My Zodiac sign is Cancer, and a nova (latin--new) creates a new entity out of an existing phenomenon through a violent metamorphosis.

(Also, "no va" in Spanish is a conjugated form of ir with a negative, meaning "it does not go."  I smoke way too many cigarettes, and I'm trying to curse my chance of getting cancer away.  Ridiculous, aren't I?)

I'm full of bizarre superstition and trivia.  I prefer the numbers three, nine, and nineteen.

I find significance in obscure nuance.

I love my soulmate, my best friend, reading, the Internet, cats, music and cigarettes.  In that order.

I work in retail management, but I used to be a lifeguard and a swimming instructor.

I am a lazy senior at University of Alaska Anchorage, and will likely remain a lazy senior for a few more semesters.  I am majoring in English with a minor in History, because those are among the few things that can keep my attention long enough to obtain sufficient grades for graduation.
